An Educational Camp for Young Christian Men ages 14–18

For several years, young men from all over the world have come to enjoy the activities at the camp. The primary purpose is to study the Bible and learn how to be active in local congregations.  If you want to enjoy days filled primarily with Bible study and spiritual conversation, you will enjoy this camp.

The camp is designed as a five-day retreat to enable young men to study at the feet of mature leaders from several congregations of God's people. The teachers scheduled for this year are: Scott Richardson (Visual Teaching), Tom Holley (Studies in Luke 13-14), John Gibson (Studies in Prayer), Tommy Peeler (Studies in the Messianic Psalms), Doy Moyer (Studies in the Prophets); Jim Deason, Steve Klein, Johnny Felker, and Allen Malone will provide singing and song leading instruction; Mark White, Allen Dvorak, Leon Mauldin, and Seth Mauldin will provide instruction for public speaking and study preparation.

Classes are for the purpose of building Biblical knowledge and much more. From examination of Scripture, you will find that faith will be strengthened, character will be built, and an important respect for the authority of God's word will be instilled. As an added benefit, you will be greatly encouraged to be with others from many places who share the love of God and His word.

Each day begins with an assembly including a thought provoking devotion to ground the day. After a hearty breakfast, classes begin. There is typically a rotation between five Bible-based classes up until the lunch break. Following the lunch break, campers rotate, in smaller groups, between instruction in singing/song leading and public speaking/public reading/outlining. Later in the afternoon, one of each days highlights is the assembly to listen to a guest speaker, typically relating to evangelism or congregational leadership. After time for exercise and another meal, there is another assembly with speakers, question and answer sessions, or panel discussions. Before bedtime, there is a devotional period for each bunkhouse.
